May

Stir a Memory. Kurt was invited to participate in Krina Patel’s Stir a Memory event on May 8th
during Fort Point’s Annual Spring Art Walk. He read his poem Salmon as Silver / Salmon as Fire.

April

x/o. The Fort Point Theatre Channel presents x/o, a visual / sound / spoken word installation piece
created by Martin Cockroft, Kurt Cole Eidsvig, and Brendan Murray on Saturday, April 24th, 7pm at
311 Summer Street in Fort Point, Boston. The event will also mark the debut of x-and-o.com, an
internet installation created by Eidsvig, Murray, and Claude Keswani.

Gravity. The Southeast Review has included  Eidsvig;s review of Gravity, Michael Davis’ first
collection of short stories in their current issue: March 2010, v. 28.1.

FPAC Interviews. This month marks the debut of the FPAC Featured Artist section of the FPAC
website. Kurt will be providing regular interviews of members, beginning this month with Elisa H.
Hamilton.

March

Impressions. BigREDandShiny has included “Philip-Lorca DiCorcia and In the Making:
Impressions from the ICA Collection” by Kurt Cole Eidsvig in Issue #127, published on March 12,
2010.

Pop Art Meets Now. The Naeve online magazine has presented a number of Eidsvig’s works in a
section titled “Pop Art Meets Now” from their March 6, 2010 edition.

February

Abstract. Kurt’s painting Pink Angels is featured as a part of the exhibition Abstract at the Walsh
Community Center in South Boston. Abstract is on display through February.

January

Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. Kurt will be teaching a course in Impressionism and
Post-Impressionism (Art 317) at UMASS/Boston this semester.

2009

December

Poiesis. BigREDandShiny will feature a regular column of poetry by Kurt Cole Eidsvig beginning in

Warhol Foundation Fellowship. The International Art Critics Association/USA Section (AICA/USA)
and the Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program have awarded 11 writers

Southeast Review. The Southeast Review has included Kurt Cole Eidsvig’s review of Dobby

Fort Point Art Walk. Kurt Cole Eidsvig will be participating in the FPAC Art Walk this weekend.

Past Colors. The Fort Point Theatre Channel will be producing a version of the Martin Cockroft /
Kurt Cole Eidsvig collaborative prose poem “Past Colors,” for their Exclamation Point 6:
Performing Poetry on May 8, 2009.

UMASS Boston Art Alumni Panel Discussion. On April 30, 2009 the UMASS Art Department
hosted a round-table discussion with UMB alums—Laura Montgomery, Director of the Bunker Hill
Community College Art Gallery, Victoria Glazomitsky, Executive Assistant at the DeCordova
Museum and Sculpture Park, and Kurt Cole Eidsvig artist and poet.

February

Exclamation Point 5: The Science of Love. Filmmaker Vannessa Filmmaker Vanessa
Vartabedian is presenting her piece, “A Valentine’s Ritual for One,” for this event on February 13,
2009 that includes footage of Kurt reading from “Love is Give and Take.”

First Show at Gallery at 12. The Gallery at 12, located at 12 Farnsworth Street in Boston has
included two pieces of Kurt’s for their show of large works.

December

Examiner.com. Kurt Cole Eidsvig will be serving as the Boston Museum Examiner for the website
Examiner.com. His regular column will feature reviews and announcements for the museums and
galleries in and around Boston.

May – July

Reference Point: New Work by Kurt Cole Eidsvig. The Moakley Federal Courthouse in Boston will
host this solo exhibition of Eidsvig’s work from May through July in their atrium gallery space.

RED. South Boston Arts Association Gallery to include Kurt Cole Eidsvig’s painting “Steel Heart” in
their upcoming February show: Red.

2007

October

The World is Yours. On October 18, 2007 Clark University’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E)
program will be hosting “The World is Yours” an annual event organized for students to learn more
about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. This year the event will focus on
entrepreneurship and the arts. This year’s keynote will be delivered by Matt Goldman, co-founder
of Blue Man Group. Other representatives of the arts and entertainment industries will be asked to
present along with Kurt Cole Eidsvig, poet and artist.

August

Where the Road Begins. The anthology “Where The Road Begins” will be including one of Kurt
Cole Eidsvig’s poems, “Parking Lot Destinations,” in their publication. “Where The Road Begins”
is an anthology being published by The Cultural Organization of Lowell (COOL) in Fall 2007 on the
occasion of the 50th anniversary of Jack Kerouac’s “On The Road.”

Globe Review. The Boston Globe has a review of Eidsvig’s work and the Image for Sale in their
August 9, 2009 issue.

July

Sidekick. Boston Globe’s Sidekick section has a feature on Image for Sale titled “They’ve Got the
Look,” in their July 23, 2007 issue.

Image for Sale. The FPAC Gallery will be hosting Image for Sale: works by Sylvie Agudelo, Kurt
Cole Eidsvig, and Jeffrey Heyne from July 27 to August 17, 2007.

PAINT presented by LynnArts. Kurt Cole Eidsvig’s mixed-media collage “Precious Gems” will
appear in the juried exhibition PAINT presented by LynnArts that extends June 20 through July 27,
